When a family law or DCS case involves a child, the court will sometimes appoint a Guardian ad Litem to speak on the child’s behalf. I am a trained Guardian ad Litem capable of serving the court in these cases.
A Guardian ad Litem is an individual the court appoints to represent the best interests of the child in a court case. A Guardian ad Litem may be appointed in cases where DCS is investigating abuse, neglect, or the possibility of removing a parent’s rights. The court may also appoint a Guardian ad Litem in certain family law cases that involve children, such as contentious child custody disputes.
As a trained Guardian ad Litem, I understand the importance of my role in these cases. My goal is always to accurately represent the best interests of the child in the case. In order to accurately determine the best interests of the child, I conduct thorough research. I am dedicated to protecting the welfare of every child I represent, and I put forth my best effort in every case.
I am available to provide Guardian ad Litem services throughout Harrison, Washington, Floyd, Clark, and Scott Counties. Please contact my office today to learn more about these services.
